Dr. Sarah Blair is a successful dentist and co-founder of Indie Practices, a dental consulting firm that helps dental practices thrive through strategic leadership and clear communication.

Dr. Blair's journey began with a passion for veterinary science, which she pursued for two years before realizing it wasn't the right path for her. After working in the real world, she discovered dentistry, combining her love for science, healthcare, and creativity.

In 2013, after graduating from Marquette University, Dr. Blair started her dental career as an associate at two private practices. These experiences gave her invaluable insights into different practice management styles.

In 2016, Dr. Blair bought a struggling dental practice that was on the verge of closing. Despite the challenges, she successfully revitalized it, tripling the patient base and revenue through strategic marketing, clear communication, and consistent efforts.

A crucial part of her success was engaging with dental practice management coaches and professional marketing teams. Dr. Blair emphasizes the importance of setting clear expectations and holding staff accountable, as well as the necessity of tracking key performance metrics such as new patient numbers and collections.

In 2020, Dr. Blair sold her thriving practice and co-founded Indie Practices, focusing on providing streamlined, efficient coaching for dental practices. Their goal is to help practice owners take back their time, manage their business more effectively, and achieve long-term success without intrusive and extravagant consulting methods.

Today, Indie Practices offers valuable resources, including an online resource library, to help dental practices improve their operations and grow steadily. Dr. Blair's story highlights the importance of proactive planning, leadership, and the consistent application of simple, effective strategies.
