What can pushing our bodies to extremes teach us about resilience? How does John Kelly see failure and define success?
John Kelly has completed some of the most impressive feats and results in endurance running. He became on the 15th finisher of the Barkley Marathons in 2017. Having completed three loops in 2015 and four in 2016.In 2023 he finished the Barkley Marathons for a second time.
He’s won the 268 mile Montane Spine Race, set new record on the Pennine Way, a record of the Wainwrights Round, and the 272 mile Long Trail in Vermon, to name just a few.
In August 2020, John became the first to complete the Grand Round. His feat involved running the Paddy Buckey, Bob Graham and Ramsey round, cycling in between.
He is a father of four and works as a data scientist.
