Nic Voge is the Senior Associate Director of Princeton University’s McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning. He co-founded Voge Academy and co-authored Life Beyond Grades: Designing College Courses to Promote Intrinsic Motivation.
Everyone has struggled with procrastination at some point and to some degree. Some of us procrastinate more than others, but in general, this is something everyone wants to get better at. Unfortunately, the majority of people don’t understand how procrastination works and why they do it to begin with.
Nic shares his insights and knowledge into why we procrastinate, how this is deeply connected to our ego, and what most people get wrong about procrastination. He also shares applicable techniques and strategies that anybody can implement in their life to reduce the level of resistance between them and the task ahead.
