Join us this week with Hanshi Kevin Blok, a martial artist and native of Windsor, ON, an academic, Defensive Tactics Instructor, author and parachutist. He holds multiple ranks including a 9th dan in Aikido from the Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF), and an 8th Dan in Yoshinkai Aikido from the world headquarters in Tokyo Japan. He was inducted into the Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2016 and is the Chief Instructor of the Chudokan Dojo in Windsor, Ontario, and Kaicho (Chairman) of the Chudokai Aikido Federation International, with more than 40 dojo (schools) in North America and Europe. He has authored 6 books and over 25 training videos on Aikido, weaponry, police/security control and defensive tactics. He holds a Masters degree in applied psychology with a minor in philosophy, and is a PhD Candidate specializing in violent behaviour management.
