Join us this week as we sit down with Kyoshi Patricia Beauregard, 6th Dan in Legacy Shorin Ryu Karate Jutsu. Kyoshi Beauregard began karate in 1980 with the JKA Association and achieved her black belt in 1988 under Master Hirokazu Kanazawa. She moved provinces and joined Legacy Shorin Ryu in 1998 and has trained with Hanshi Gary Legacy since. Kyoshi Beauregard has taught karate for over 30 years, and has competed nationally and internationally in dozens of tournaments from 1988 to 2001. These include the World Shotokan SKI, the USA Challenge in New York in 1997, and the World WKO in 2000. Kyoshi Beauregard has also coached at the national level. In addition to teaching karate, Sensei Beauregard is a physical education teacher in London, ON.
