As many as 40% of people with T2DM require insulin therapy, but only about one-third initiate basal insulin. How can endocrinologists and other healthcare providers ease the treatment burden for these patients? Part of the answer may lie in once-weekly basal insulins. This PeerView inQuiry challenges you to examine the role of once-weekly basal insulins and how they may help to improve outcomes in patients with diabetes.
