Episode 17 of the Military to Civilian Career Transition Power Hour, where we dive into the strategies and challenges veterans face when entering the civilian job market.
This episode features three individuals who are at different stages of career transition.
For our SOUP segment, currently serving in Okinawa, Adaecus Brooks, a transitioning Marine is enhancing his military communications experience with a SkillBridge program in digital marketing while finishing his bachelors degree. Adaecus is set to make a significant impact when he relocates to the US mainland.

Our expert segment features Shannon Russell, a former TV producer turned career coach who specializes in guiding individuals through their second careers, making her insights invaluable to the #mil2civ community.
For our 1-4 year veteran segment, we meet Darcy Babutzke, who, after navigating the med-board process, now serves as an advocate for service members and veterans dealing with similar medical discharge challenges.
Rounding out our episode, we have our 5+ year veteran, Scot McCosh, chaplain and veteran who remains dedicated to his mission through his work with Fayetteville Community College and the US Army Chaplain Corps.
