Today I am sitting down with Amanda Smith, founder of Dallas Girl Gang and Playbook Marketing. If you’re in Dallas you’ve most likely heard of Dallas Girl Gang, it’s basically a community of ambitious women all learning from each other, hanging out, attending events, growing their businesses, you get the vibe. There are currently over 42,000 women that are a part of this community, so you know it’s valuable. This episode is a fun and chatty one, with a big focus on entrepreneurship. Amanda gets into her biggest lessons within 7 years of being CEO of the company, hiring mistakes she made and what she would have done, how she quit her job and focused on her business full time, stress management tips, the reality that there may not be a work life balance in the beginning of your business, monetizing a community, and so much more. She also gives me and just my age group very good advice on what to spend your energy on and what not to with a very balanced view.
