Your body speaks to you.
Problem is that most of us simply ignore our internal messaging system - or try to drown out the signals that keep trying to flag us down because we just want to get on with doing life.
But turning a blind eye to what you are sensing, feeling or even know emphatically, and tuning out of your intuition... eventually comes at a cost.
Being able to recognise consistent or persistent patterns of thought or emotions when faced with certain situations, roles and responsibilities as a clinical professional, or even potential career decisions, is key to helping you decide whether a career pivot is necessary; and possibly even which direction to take your career in.
By doing regular self check-ins to understand where your feelings may be coming from, journaling your thoughts and emotions, and talking to a trusted friend, coach or advisor, you can start seeing a clear path ahead toward professional fulfillment.
When you ignore these thoughts, feelings or emotions that may be pointing you in a particular direction, it can have dire consequences for your mental health and well being, as well as both your personal and professional life.
