In the feature interview presented by NHL Sense Arena, Lyon discusses the balance between being a competitive goaltender who does all they can to stop the puck vs. building a technical structure and how the balance may change as a goaltender gets older. He shares lessons learned working with other goaltenders in the NHL, especially his time with Sergei Bobrovsky in Florida, his own work with young goaltenders like Trey Augustine in Detroit and many lessons of mindset and mental preparation including F1 drivers as inspiration for the focus required throughout a game.
