Perception is everything. And when it comes to dominant and submissive relationships the perception is that Dominant = Bitch and submissive = weak. When we think about how we think about our hands for example, the question is asked, what is your dominant hand? If you’re right handed that would mean that your dominant hand, your right hand, is stronger than your left hand. This same perception runs through everything we do. Men are only allowed to be strong, dominant, alpha males. Women are only allowed to be sweet, kind, submissive females. It’s archaic thinking that needs to stop. Enter Chris Lyon. Chris has spent countless hours researching and interviewing folks to see how successful dominant and submissive relationships really work. Chris is an admitted dominant herself in her relationship and finds that although it wouldn’t seem like it, it makes the relationship more balanced. Tune in Tues May 14 and listen to my interview with Chris M. Lyon and learn about smashing the stereotype of dominant and submissive roles in relationships. Followed by: Kinky Questions
