Welcome to the Heal Your Thyroid podcast with Madeleine Lowry, a neural retraining specialist, founder of Twin Cities Neural Retraining, and the 12 week Thyroid Stress Solution program.

In this episode, Madeleine discusses how stressful thoughts add to the accumulation of stress that promotes chronic illness, including Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism.

She explains how repetitive negative thoughts set off the stress response and halt all of the healing functions of the body. They dampen mood and keep us in a negative downward spiral that impairs thyroid function.

If you find it difficult to stop the flow of negative thoughts, advanced neural retraining can help, usually in 3-6 sessions.

Shifting these internal beliefs is often key to helping women break free from the emotional and mental barriers that are keeping them stuck.
