Trained in 1990 by the originator of Hanna Somatic Education, Thomas Hanna, Lawrence Gold worked on-staff in the movement rehab department of the Wellness & Rehabilitation Center of Watsonville Community Hospital in California from 1997 - 1999. He began his discipline of personal development at age 16 when he participated in the human potential movement by attending workshops at Esalen Institute, followed by the practice of yoga, rolfing, the best training, and other developmental influences, training, and coursework.
