I would say that this is the number one way new home buyers lose the most money - because they are not focused and do not have a written game plan of what they want. In my 20 years, only about 40% of real estate agents present offers – 60% just send them via email. If you are in a multiple offer situation your real estate agent needs to also do the following: 2. Write an Escalation Clause in the purchase contract. 3. Have your lender (if you are getting a loan) call the listing agent and tell them how qualified you are. 4.
