What’s In and What's Out for 2024
Manage episode 396030746 series 2917040
We are constantly striving for improvement here at C-Suite Boutique and one of the ways we practice this is by looking back to see what has been working for us and what’s no longer serving us. Although the start of the year is not the only time you should reflect on your habits, it can be a great time to prepare yourself for a successful year ahead. This week’s episode 103 of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries is about what’s in and what’s out for 2024.
Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn’t work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”
I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Download the exercise here to get started!
In this episode of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries, I’m sharing my ins and outs for 2024 and actionable steps and strategies you can use in your business to pivot on the things that are no longer working and start implementing the things that are going to help your business improve. Some of the things I cover in this episode are:
- Celebrating C-Suite Boutique’s new integrators, Stephanie Desaulniers and Sarah Hines.
- Meeting burnout is OUT, being more intentional with meetings is IN.
- Making poor hires and not doing anything about it is OUT, putting the right people in the right seat is IN.
- Having your financial blinders on is OUT, having financial clarity is IN.
- Setting unrealistic goals is OUT, planning ahead is IN.
- Wearing too many hats and micromanaging is OUT, delegating and holding your employees accountable is IN.
- Entrepreneurial burnout is OUT, being a visionary and thinking big picture is IN.
- What's on my mind: Reflecting back on everything I achieved in 2023.
Thanks for listening! Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of tools, advice, resources, support, and encouragement that resonates with the modern businesswoman and to hear even more about the points outlined above.
