Before her start at the foundation, she was the Director of Net Zero + Nature at Netflix. Prior to serving in leadership positions at ENGIE Impact and Electric Capital Management, Alexia was a senior climate change advisor at the U.S. Department of State. Her early work in the offset space consisted of serving as a senior associate for the World Resources Institute Climate and Energy Program and as the policy program manager for Climate Trust. Alexia has an MPA in climate change mitigation policy and a master’s and bachelor’s in public policy and management from the University of Oregon.
