The average amount of infection in a typical person's mouth is the equivalent of a missing patch of skin the size of the back of your hand. It's a very large open, septic wound. Yet dentists don't care; patients walk around in blissful ignorance; doctors NEVER ask the important question, when faced with a sick person: "Have you had any dental work done recently?" John and I can only wring our hands in anguish!
