On this BIP Chat we chatted to health and safety innovator, and author of 'Risk It!', Malcolm Tullett.
Poor leadership and poor communications are the primary causes of bad outcomes, including workplace disasters. Even when leaders tick all the ‘duty’ of care (compliance) boxes, without ‘actually’ caring those bad outcomes are unlikely to be prevented.
Along with his guests, human-centred workplace transformation consultant (and fellow BIP expert) Sarah Piddington and EHS Director Stephen Storey, Malcolm shared how as a leader you can use your 'caring' instincts.
This will enhance your decision making and the outcomes of those decisions, allowing your organisation and people to thrive, rather than nose-dive.
