Matthew McIntyre serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of McKarl’s Libations, a hospitality group specializing in high-end mobile craft bartending, bar consultations, and retail and on-premise promotions.
With a background in some of North Florida's most prestigious bars, his lengthiest stint was at The Ice Plant in St. Augustine, FL. Matthew holds the title of Executive Bourbon Steward along with several other certifications, delighting in educating consumers and leading spirits-focused classes. Additionally, he acts as the North Florida ambassador for Misguided Spirits, a spirits company established by bartenders for bartenders.
Matthew’s greatest joy is providing hospitality and education outside of your typical brick-and-mortar bar. From intimate backyard gatherings to large corporate events, he aims to create memorable experiences for every guest. His passion for craft cocktails and dedication to excellence are evident in every aspect of his work, ensuring that each event is uniquely tailored to the client's vision.
When he's not behind the bar, you can find Matthew experimenting with new cocktail recipes, exploring local distilleries, or sharing his knowledge at industry seminars. He believes that the art of bartending extends beyond just mixing drinks; it’s about storytelling, connecting with people, and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and appreciated.
