In today's episode we have a special guest calling all the way from Mexico, Barbara Garcia Ritchie! After receiving a request to have an episode centered around surfing, we couldn't wait to invite Barbara. She is a survivor, a competitive adaptive surfer, and an all around amazing woman. Barbara and Danielle met through Instagram, after having both gone through similar boating accidents that altered their bodies and the course of their lives. On this podcast, they discuss life and training before the accident, how surfing and the water have helped heal the mind and body, and how Barbara has been able to adapt and embrace her new life.
