Dr. Julie Wambaugh, Ph.D., CCC/SLP is Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Utah and is a Research Career Scientist at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. She teaches graduate courses in Aphasia and Motor Speech Disorders. She has been conducting research focused on clinically-applicable treatments for apraxia of speech and aphasia for many years and has published extensively on these topics. Her research has been funded for many years by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
