In this episode, we speak with ultramarathoner, adventurer, author and speaker, Marshall Ulrich. He shares his personal journey, highlighting the physical and mental challenges he faced and conquered as an endurance athlete. His remarkable experiences, combined with his expertise, provides invaluable insights on maintaining strength and vitality as we age.

Marshall Ulrich is an elite extreme endurance athlete, as well as an accomplished speaker, author, race director, and guide. Called the “Endurance King” by Outside magazine, he’s finished over 130 ultra marathons averaging over 125 miles each; climbed to the top of the highest mountain on every continent; and completed 13 expedition-length adventure races.
At the age of 57, Marshall clocked the third-fastest run across America, about which he wrote his first book,
Running on Empty. His second book, Both Feet on the Ground, focuses on the importance of reconnecting with nature through stories about Mount Everest and Denali, Death Valley, adventure racing, and growing up on a farm, thus encouraging others to get outside. A record four-time winner of the Badwater Ultramarathon, Marshall has crossed Death Valley on foot, in July, a record 31 times, including a self-contained, unaided solo, a “quad” of nearly 600 miles, the first-ever self-supported circumnavigation of Death Valley National Park, and the first (and only) winter crossing.

In the Adjusted Reality podcast, well-known athletes, celebrities, actors, chiropractors, influencers in the wellness industry, and other podcasters will talk with host Dr. Sherry McAllister, president, F4CP, about their experiences with health and wellness.
