Confidence. Courage. Boldness. We love to talk about them, post about them, hashtag them, and slap them on coffee mugs. But let’s be real—most of us aren’t sure how to actually build them in our own lives. Which is why we brought in Michelle “MACE” Curran , former fighter pilot and only the second woman in history to fly lead solo for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, to the show. Yep, she’s the real deal—flying combat missions, performing death-defying maneuvers in front of millions, and now, author of The Flip Side: How to Invert Your Perspective and Turn Fear into Your Superpower. Mace knows better than anyone that courage and confidence don’t just magically appear. They’re built, brick by brick, in moments that test your nerve—whether that’s hitting nine G’s at supersonic speed or simply raising your hand in a room full of skeptics. In this episode, she drops a masterclass on how to flip fear on its head, use it as fuel, and create unshakable boldness in your everyday life. This episode we take a moment and talk about Southern Oregon burning down. In a matter of days, 5 towns get heavy damage from an onslaught of local and regional fires. In fact most of the PNW was engulfed in flames. We lost our dispensary, studio, and several friends lost their homes. The damage was extensive and will take years to recover from. We wanted to chat about it so that people could hear first hand. Don’t stress though because we fit in some grow talk as well. It’s been one hell of a year and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better, so sit back, lets get high, talk about fires in our bowls and fires in our forests, and pray the cost of cannabis doesn’t go up. UPDATE: The fires in our area have been contained and the majority of smoke has dispersed. The evacuation levels have dropped and people have been allowed to get back into the areas of damage to try and sift through the burned wreckage. People continue to be homeless and are still fighting to find places to live. Share Post Share Source…

Oregon Rooted: The Dirt Show
This week we finish up with Part 2 of our journey. Exploring the upper levels of hallucinating states we cover what people call ‘breaking through’, experiencing autonomous entities and their characteristics, common geography and settings, alterations in perspective, the experience of time, and the possibility of unique and rare sensory effects. Although we do our best to describe a trip, be aware a psychedelic experience is subjective to the individual. Your experience is not confined or limited to the descriptions in this episode. Effects of hallucinogens are completely unique and personal. Each trip can be different and will likely never be experienced the same way again. Like in life, entheogens are a journey and everyone’s is different. Let’s finish up part two by looking into the deepest darkest depths of your mind, on a psychedelic trip. Share Post Share Source…

Oregon Rooted: The Dirt Show
This week we sit down and talk about the various effects and dosages of psychedelics and specifically, mushrooms. Inspired by an email from a listener, we first go over varying amounts and how they can effect you, how to prepare, and what to expect. Then, we talk about the specifics of an actual trip and the various levels that the subject will experience. Finally, we talk about the odd or extremely weird effects that both natural and synthetic entheogens can produce. In this episode we attempt to unravel the subjective nature of a psychedelic experience and explore the mysteries of the mind during one. This is broken up into 2 episodes as there was a lot to cover, so grab a bowl or a joint and come join us for a deep journey into the nature and concepts of a psychedelic trip.
