Northeast Mississippi Community College President Dr. Ricky G. Ford sits down with Marketing and Public Relations Associate Alli Scott as she fills in for Liz Calvery to discuss what has endured the TigerTalk podcast to so many listeners over 300 episodes. Northeast's TigerTalk podcast celebrates 300 episodes since its humble launch in October 2017. Ford discusses the early years of the TigerTalk podcast and talks about his vision for the podcast after taking over for Will Kollmeyer following Kollmeyer's retirement from the airwaves. Ford talks about where the podcast may go in the future and gives credit to those behind the scenes, who have dedicated their time to making sure that the podcast goes out each week. Ford also talks about the recent award the podcast received as it was named the second-best community college podcast in the nation by FeedSpot. To wrap up, Ford gives listeners the Northeast News and discusses athletics, academics, workforce, student activities, and human resources, along with many more important things happening at one of the nation’s top community colleges.
