Some researchers have emphasized the dominant roles of Yad Vashem and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in creating a canon and universalizing the Holocaust narrative. Others have highlighted the variations in Holocaust commemoration around the world. Additional studies have explored various aspects, including pedagogy and education, politics and nationalism, museum design and architecture, ethics, survivor testimonies, and more.
