In Christ, we are made new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us of the change that comes when we are in Christ, our old self is washed away, and we are renewed. What does this Gospel transformation look like? Last week we kicked off our fall sermon series, Good News, looking at the goodness within the Gospel and how it impacts us. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is revelation that transforms, this change is from the inside out. When we receive salvation in Christ, we are brought to repentance because the Gospel reveals our sin and urges us to turn away from it. Jesus takes us on a journey to remove sin and shame and instill renewed faith, hope, and courage in Him. The Gospel reveals Christ and our destiny. Placing our faith and hope in Christ gives us the promise of spending eternity with Him.
