Gender and Diversity activists Nadia Khan of Womxn in CTRL & Music Industry expert Vick Bain join us on the podcast today to discuss the importance and power of data in modern activism.
Nadia Khan is a music industry consultant who has been working in the music industry for 19 years, over 16 years as a manager. She has also led multiple record labels to Top 20 success independently and sits on the AIM Board.

Nadia is passionate about bringing womxn’s rights to the forefront and is the founder of ‘Womxn In CTRL’ – a platform which empowers and connects womxn across the music business and creative industry.

Vick Bain is the former CEO of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors and a Henley Business School MBA graduate with 25 years experience in music and the creative industries. A qualified Equality, Diversity & Inclusion consultant, Vick is an expert trainer, researcher and spokesperson on all aspects of equality and diversity in the music industry and other creative industry sectors. Vick has just launched the F-List; an online directory helping UK female and gender minority musicians overcome structural barriers by facilitating training and profile and professional opportunities.
