Amrit is such a pleasure to be with and talk to and tonight's podcast was no exception! He's been a client of mine since December of 2023 and I always look forward to catching up with him when he comes in. We spoke about his childhood and early formative years in music; he started quite early learning instruments and then participating in musical projects and bands. I think you'll enjoy our time talking about "What's Next?"! In His Own Words: "My musical journey began at the age of 8, when I obtained my first drum-set. My desire to make music something more than a hobby has grown ever since. I have taken on several new challenges since then, learning instruments such as vocals, guitar, bass, piano, vibraphone, xylophone, marimba, and various auxiliary percussion instruments. At Santa Teresa High School, I was in the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band. I currently attend West Valley College and am working towards a double major in Music. I’ve been a part of the West Valley Jazz Ensemble, and College Chorale. I gig regularly around the Bay Area in a number of groups, and churches.
