In this final episode of what the Bible says about the church that Jesus built, Arnie and Fred discuss first the fact that the Lord's church teaches only the doctrine of Christ. There are numerous passages that teach this. We focus in on three passages from what the apostles Peter, John and Paul say about this subject. We note that the "social gospel" is not included in the doctrine of Christ. There are no conventions to decide what will be taught or practiced. We find no manuals, disciplines or creeds included in the Lord's teachings. We note that the purpose of the gospel is to save people from being lost forever. We look at what Paul said to the Romans about being saved. There are a number of requirements included in the doctrine of Christ that must be obeyed. We talk about each one and note that it is the Lord who requires that we obey Him.
