Good morning, San Francisco! This is your weather wizard bringing you the latest atmospheric adventures for the next week.
We're kicking things off with some serious coastal drama. Hold onto your umbrellas, because we've got a High Surf Warning and a Coastal Flood Warning in effect. Mother Nature is not playing around!
Tonight, expect rain rolling in with south southwest winds gusting up to 28 miles per hour. Temperatures will drop to a cool 53 degrees Fahrenheit, and we're looking at about a quarter inch of rainfall.
Tuesday brings more shower action, mainly before 11 in the morning. Temperatures will climb to a mild 59 degrees Fahrenheit with west winds hitting around 25 miles per hour.
Christmas Day looks like a gift from the weather gods - mostly sunny and a pleasant 56 degrees Fahrenheit with light winds.
But don't put away those rain jackets just yet! Wednesday night through the weekend, we're in for a wet ride. Expect consistent rainfall, foggy patches, and temperatures hovering between the high 40s and low 60s.
By next Monday, we'll finally see some sunshine breaking through with a temperature of 58 degrees Fahrenheit.
For those storm chasers and weather enthusiasts, more detailed information can be found in the show notes at weather.gov/mtr.
Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update.
