Good morning, San Francisco! This is your weather report coming in hot (or should I say, cool and wet) for the weekend and beyond.
Buckle up for a soggy stretch, folks! We've got some serious rain action headed our way. Tonight, we're looking at a 30 percent chance of rain after 5 am, with temperatures dipping to a chilly 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect cloudy skies and virtually no wind.
Sunday brings a mixed bag - chance of rain before 8 am, then another potential sprinkle after 5 pm. Temperatures will climb to a mild 64 degrees Fahrenheit with light winds shifting to the south.
Hold onto your umbrellas because Monday and Tuesday are going to be wet! We're talking rain likely after 4 pm on Monday, with a 100 percent chance of precipitation Monday night. Expect anywhere from three-quarters to one inch of rain, with winds gusting up to 24 miles per hour.
The good news? By Tuesday night, we'll start to clear up, and Christmas Day looks partly sunny with temperatures around 57 degrees Fahrenheit.
But wait, there's more! The latter part of the week continues the rainy trend, with precipitation likely Thursday through Saturday.
Oh, and a heads up - there's currently a High Surf Advisory and High Surf Warning in effect, so beach-goers, proceed with caution!
