Good day, Columbus! It's time for your local weather report brought to you by the National Weather Service Wilmington, Ohio.
Let's dive straight in and see what Mother Nature has in store for us this weekend and the upcoming week ahead:
Today, we can expect plenty of sunshine with a high around 55 degrees. The west wind will be blowing at a gentle pace of 9 to 15 miles per hour, so hold onto your hats!
Tonight, things will cool down a bit with partly cloudy skies and a low dipping to around 37 degrees. The northwest wind will be cruising at 7 to 10 miles per hour.
Moving on to Sunday, we'll see a mix of sun and clouds with a high near 57 degrees. The west wind will be a bit softer at 6 to 9 miles per hour.
As we head into the workweek, Monday will start with some patchy frost in the morning, giving way to sunny skies and a high near 64 degrees. The wind will be calm in the morning, becoming a gentle west breeze at 5 to 7 miles per hour later in the day.
Tuesday might bring a chance of showers in the afternoon, so keep that umbrella handy. We're looking at partly sunny skies, a high near 68 degrees, and breezy conditions. The chance of precipitation is around 30%.
Get ready for showers likely on Tuesday night, especially between 9 pm and 3 am, with mostly cloudy conditions and a low near 46 degrees.
We wrap up the forecast with sunny skies on Thursday and a high near 61 degrees. Friday might see a chance of showers, but mostly sunny conditions with a high near 68 degrees.
