Repent Be Converted is found in the third chapter of Acts, an event post Pentecost and the giving of the #HolySpirit. Here we find Peter and John going up to the temple. On the way they came upon a Lame man, and he looked at the pair expecting to receive something from them. One of the famous quotes of Peter is found here in Acts chapter three and verse six with Peter saying, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of #Jesus #Christ of #Nazareth rise up and walk." This miracle led both Peter and John into an event that shook those around them who were astonished at the miracle. They were even questioned by the elders and others who concluded that it was legitimate miracle and that the pair, they noted "Had been with Jesus!" It is here we see the command that #JesusChrist gave to #HisApostles to Go Ye, and the pair went to the temple and a #miracleoccurred. They never got out of #Jerusalem. People saw and beheld the #miraculous. Following this event portion, we go on to the conclusion where Peter stands before crowds of those gathered and tells #Gospel story found in Acts chapter three, verses fourteen to nineteen. The point of all this was not to gain fame, but to tell the crowd to "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your #sins may be blotted out" -verse nineteen.
