She shares the trauma she suffered due to a car accident in her teen years, where she was told she may never walk again. After finding the right doctor, surgery, and time in a wheelchair, she was able to make a recovery. Cindy discusses being on vacation and seeing a beautiful pair of heels, and with what happened to her legs from the accident, was weary to purchase them. But, due to how the heels were made, she didn't feel pain and truly enjoyed herself in them. This sparked her journey to starting her own shoe company.
