Two Average Joes with Kevin King - What Happens When the Prison System Lies???
In our latest installment on Prison Reform, Kevin King tells of his 12-year ordeal in regard to his situation in the Michigan Department of Corrections. Would government officials try to set up an inmate just because the internee was trying to protect other prisoner’s constitutional rights? How far will an institute go to stop one man’s desire to protect his fellow inmates? Can a person even fight those odds?
Kevin King did. Listen to the story as Kevin details how prison officials fabricated his prison records and attempted to set him up for failure. Kevin had to maneuver through a web of deceit and lies to protect his rights. What happened at the end? King won.
With the help of the Baker Law Firm, Kevin prevailed. With the assistance of Attorney Robert Baker and Paralegal Kristle Goins, Kevin’s wife Cheryl King and Attorney Gregory Longworth, he was able to win his case and collect damages in his 1983 civil case.
