Paul the Missionary Bear Visits Jireh
Manage episode 446290664 series 3478471
In this heartwarming episode, Paul the Missionary Bear embarks on a new adventure to Jireh, a special place in Bolivia where at-risk children find love and care. Paul, along with his friends Tim and Kallie Hutton, Canadian Baptist Ministries field staff, and Patty Nacho, program officer in Latin America, sets out to visit the children of Jireh. Along the way, Paul learns about the meaning of “Jireh,” a name for God that means "provider," and witnesses firsthand how God’s love is shared through the volunteers and the joy in the children’s hearts.
As Paul spends time with the children, he shares stories about his travels, helps with daily tasks, and experiences the warm hospitality of the Jireh community. Through laughter, meals, and moments of reflection, Paul gains a deeper understanding of what it means to be cared for and how God provides for those in need. Tune in to hear this touching story of faith, gratitude, and how even a small bear can make a big difference in the lives of others.
