What up and Welcome Back to The WORLDs iLLEST Podcast Through My Eyes with 1 Eyed Willie. This is Season 2 Episode 8: Super Cool Feat. Shaun Melody of Melody & Harmony a band based out of Nashville, TN.
On this episode Shaun Melody and I discuss his upbringing in Nashville, TN, his high school career as a basketball player, being in Chorus and how that allowed him to fit into multiple groups in school. Shaun details his mother recognizing his gift of singing at an early age which let him to be in talent shows and ultimately singing in his church choir.
Shaun would later leave Nashville and attend Western Kentucky University where he and I would eventually meet our Freshman year in 2001. While at WKU Shaun Melody would participate in the WKU Chorus group "Amazing Tones of Joy" (ATJ) which allowed him to meet new people, sing more leads and get into recording music with aspiring artists on campus. We talk about recording with Hatchett in SoutWest Hall to later meeting with Faded Greatness (Henny The King/ Bless) where he as given the name "Shaun Melody".
We also talk about the group "Melody & Harmony", how the group was pieced together, performing live at various nightclubs and venues in Nashville and surrounding areas to recording their first single "Super Cool" that will be released on all digital platforms soon.
