Hosted by Eagle-Vail resident Christopher Buono, The Vail Valley eXperience (VWX) podcast seeks to share with the world the Vail Valley's (Colorado) most interesting inhabitants. Episode #3 features Tim McMahon (aka Chicken Man).
Eagle County resident and activist, Tim McMahon, was born in Wisconsin, but also lived in Atlanta, Louisville, Detroit, Columbus, Charlotte, Raleigh, Minneapolis and the front range of Colorado. Raised in Catholic schools, worked since fourteen years old, went to University of North Carolina Charlotte, always working two or more jobs, and with one child, Tim McMahon always put others before himself, which gets him into trouble. Hence, was born Chicken Man. The amount of support for Chicken Man and how big its gotten is still the most surprising thing in Tim's life. He originally did it as a f&*k you to Vail Resorts. Less than a month later he realized it was way bigger than himself.
