#121: On the Necrolord Covenant Campaign

Nick and Katie are back to talk about the Necrolord Covenant Campaign. But first Katie talks about how she's been to busy to play WoW lately. Then they dive in.
Nick first talks about some quotes from Draka and Vashj that set up the Necrolords and their philosophy. Then they talk about meeting Ve'nari and rescueing Baine from Torghast.
Next, they get into the campaign proper. They talk about how you recruit a crew from the House of Eyes, and this crew will help you steal a necropolis from the House of Rituals. After you have Zerekiss (the necropolis), you go to Bastion and work with the Paragon of Courage to defeat the remaining Maldraxxi forces from the House of Constructs. After that is done, Alexandros Mograine asks the Paragon why he was sent to Maldraxxus when Bastion more closely matches what he thought the afterlife would be, and he learns that his motivation for fighting comes from his attachments. Nick tries to apply this lesson to Draka.
Next, the Paragon of Courage joins us in assaulting the House of Constructs in Maldraxxus. We learn about the plan to attach wings to the constructs, and Katie talks about how Kyrian skin is special for fleshcrafting. Draka defeats Margrave Gharmaul and we find anima that was sent from Sire Denathrius.
Draka meets with the Accuser and we get Kael'thas as a new team member. Kael'thas mentions Kel'thuzad's involvement in the desecration of Silvermoon to foreshadow his appearance, as after killing a Lich Overseer Kel'thuzad's involvement is made known.
Balmedar comes to the Seat of the Primus from the House of Rituals looking to betray Kel'thuzad. We work with Balmedar to scout the House, and do some quests for Kel'thuzad to stop a ritual. Finally, we attack the House of Rituals, and after fighting a Maw Infernus summoned from the Maw, we defeat Kel'thuzad. Before we can kill him, the Mawsworn appear and take him away. Nick and Katie talk about our history of failing to prevent problems because we argue about killing someone.
Nick theorizes about how we could be preparing for the Primus to return. He also talks about rescueing Thrall from Torghast, and speculates about what could happen if he meets Draka.
