What do the terms natural/normal actually mean? - The unnatural nature of normal

The terms "normal" and "natural" are thrown around a lot, referring to everything from our behaviours, to our food, products, and health. These terms are used to tell us how we "should" be living our lives, what to put in our bodies, and how to act around others. If something is being sold to you as "natural", is it truly for our benefit to be our best selves, or is profit more important than health for those selling it? When people are told how to behave by so-called "experts", how might that impact those that fall outside of this behaviour? In attempting to cure problems with these "natural" products are we in fact causing more problems? Welcome to the land of no easy answers....
