In today’s podcast, I share a talk I gave last Christmas at Crosspoint Church in Niceville, Florida. We talk about what it really means to have it all this Christmas, and how to not miss the joy. When we can stop and recognize the holiness of the night and put ourselves in the smelly manger surrounded by animals, we can see the work of God, not only in the Christmas story but also in our own lives. Because God draws us into His presence in the most unexpected and unconventional ways, we become silent in the night, waiting for the first cry of a child coming out of his mother’s womb so that we might be delivered from discontent.
