Today’s episode is all about charter, public, and private schools. What makes them different, how are they the same? I decided to speak to a few teachers that I know who teach in the central Arkansas area. Our first teacher is Samantha and our second teacher is Christen. Samantha shares her experience at both public and charter schools. Christen hilariously shares her experience at all three schools- seriously she is so knowledgeable and funny, don’t stop the episode before you hear her! Both teachers are dear friends and I so enjoyed getting to talk with them about this topic! However, after talking with my friends about their experiences in the different schools, I still had questions about charter schools and what made them so different from Public schools. So I reached out to Mr. Mike Poore, Little Rock School District Superintendent. He has a lot of experience with charter schools and shared a little bit of his expertise with us. In this episode you’ll first hear from Samantha, then Mr. Mike Poore, and lastly Christen.
