The MiLB crew is back together after Derrik and Jake missed last week’s show. Hunter kicks things off by giving a full recap of the 5 Sea Dogs games he watched in Somerset last week. It was a huge week for all of the members of the Big 3, with Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony and Kyle Teel each having big weeks at the plate. Zach Penrod was a big topic of discussion, as he had his second start in a row of 10 strikeouts. He’s quickly become one of the best pitching prospects in the system. How much longer can we expect the soon to be 27 year old to stay in AA? Next, the guys go over Salem, where Miguel Bleis is crushing it and the numbers are starting to stabilize after an unlucky start. It was a great week for Salem starters including Trennor O’Donnell, Jedixson Paez, Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz, Luis Cohen and more. In Greenville, they talk about Kristian Campbell destroying the baseball and Bryan Gonzalez becoming a big power prospect.
