Death and loss feel like a weighted blanket or a dark cloud that looms over us; if that is what we choose to see. Life for the past 19 months has been chaotic; unpredictable, mentally and emotionally demanding. We have had to really lean into our resilience to make it to this point. Revisiting the Perspective Matters is necessary as it serves to remind us that; we choose what we focus on. How we choose to look at things impact how we feel and how we face the world.

We can focus on loss or we can focus on what we still have. We can lose our hope or cling to it. We can withdraw or we can embrace life and all it offers us. Our time on this earth is short; so live your best life! Love hard; hug tighter; kiss longer! This journey will take you on a roller coaster ride; you can hang on for dear life or you can let go and surrender!

I hope each of you has a strong support system you can turn to; and you appreciate all the good things you have in this life. If you doubt this; pause and reflect on all that you have and you may be pleasantly surprised to learn how blessed you truly are!
