A world number one during Tiger Woods' dominance at the turn of the millennium, Duval won 11 PGA Tour events in 18 months, and 20 events around the world, before suffering innumerable injuries that ended his competitiveness at 30-years-old. However, a truly brilliant player in his day, Duval was able to capture a very special Championship indeed during his window of success, winning the Claret Jug at The 130th Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
