As a former educator, now author, public speaker, and music advocate, Fran Kick has dedicated his life in helping the next generation of students through his speaking and educating abilities. As he travels all across the world speaking, Kick takes an interactive approach in his lessons, and gives resources that students, parents, and teachers can use for the rest of their lives!
On this episode of The Stage, Kick joins Ken Burke to discuss how he has managed to achieve success through teaching students about the importance of music and the work he continues to do with national organizations like the NFHS, Music for All, and more! Listen as he explains how he moved from educating to speaking, why he wrote his books Kick It In and What Makes Kids Kick, and an important event coming up for students involved in band called the Future Music Educators Experience in Indianapolis, Indiana.
