Welcome to the Inghild Hross podcast, where we delve into the rich history and mythology of horses. The name Inghild Hross comes from the ancient Norse language and translates to ”God-like horse.” It is said that this majestic creature possessed powers beyond mortal understanding and was the subject of many tales told in the great halls of Norse kings such as Ragnar Lothbrok. While we cannot confirm if Inghild Hross was indeed a real horse or simply a legend, her name has become synonymous with the strength, beauty, and grace of horses throughout history. Join us on a journey through the stories of mythology, folklore, and fantasy as we capture the essence of these magnificent creatures. Through the sagas, we will explore the many roles horses have played in human history, from war mounts to faithful companions. We will uncover the lore and mythology behind famous horses like Sleipnir, Pegasus, and Shadowfax. And, who knows, we may even stumble upon more tales of the godlike Inghild Hross herself. So come along for the ride as we celebrate the timeless bond between humans and horses and discover the magic that these creatures have brought to our lives for centuries. The Inghild Hross podcast is here to honor the majestic and awe-inspiring creatures that have captured our hearts and imaginations for generations.
