In this episode of The Hoodoo Factory we discuss the episode Apartment. This is the third of three episodes in our “Costume-Mania” unit. Part A is the game show portion of the Hoodoo experience. In the ABSA Fever round we’ll discuss some of our favorite scenes, quotes, keepsakes, and more. In the Marty Party round we’ll discuss our answers to these hard hitting questions:
- Is it The Real Deal (I buy it) or The McNeal Perspective (I’m selling it)?
- Lisa cheated to win the contest by getting the puppy before she knew she had a place for it.
- Getting the apartment would have improved Max’s life the most out of the three.
- The “pregnant bigfoot” picture of Max was the worst thing on the WNYX website.
- Having the staff vote on who gets the recommendation was the best way that Jimmy could have made a decision.
- Have an Adequate Day by playing “would you rather.”
- Would you rather have to campaign your co-workers to vote for you to get a great apartment in a workplace contest between you and two other co-workers OR have to live with your boss for three months while you find a new place?
- Would you rather find out the person you’re dating and have been intimate with is your first cousin OR get and keep a pet you don’t want, don’t like, and will dislike caring for, to get a great apartment or house?
- Would you rather have your boss tell you to create a company YouTube channel and to get 1M collective likes within three months or else you’re fired OR be recorded on camera every second you are on your job’s property for a full week?
- Would you rather listen to a weird co-worker for 75 minutes as they explain to you their alien character’s backstory OR wear a skimpy costume in a play that will be webcam-ed and broadcast live onto the internet and you will be on camera the entire time?
- Bonus consequence: Sleep in a small bed with too many large dogs for three months.
