The NHL Phased Return, New Qualifying Round, Stanley Cup Playoff Format

The return success of other sports such as NASCAR and UFC have shown sports can return from COVID-19, and comments from idiots in the media who don’t really care about hockey in the first place have no standing with the guys. The guys agree: the NHL needs to get off the dime. The recent waffling on start dates has been a bit of a buzz kill after the original announcement of the NHL’s return.

Cam makes a great point about how much better the NHL plan is compared to the NBA, which has many more high maintenance individuals to deal with compared to hockey. Which makes the NHL delays all the more frustrating to fans.

Listen now this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast as Brian and Cam sort through the possibilities of the return to play, the new qualifying round of “play-in” games, and the Stanley Cup playoff format.

We’d like to thank BetCris Canada for their support of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Make sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast as Brian and Cam keep you informed and entertained while we wait for play to resume in the NHL.
