This is Part 1 of a two part series I'm doing over the next two weeks. All about the books on my bookshelf. I am equal parts bookworm to plant nerd y'all and I have a collection of books as you might imagine, all related to growing food at home, homesteading, food preservation, fermenting, small space growing, big space growing, tending to chickens, technical reference books. All sorts of books on food, growing and appreciating vegetables.
This week, I'm going to focus on books that have to do with growing vegetables, growing plants, looking for plants, and fungi, mushrooms, foraging. I have 17 books to get through in today's episode!
Below are links to acquire these books for yourself. I will always be an advocate for checking first with our local public libraries to see if they have some of these books available to you. And then. Absolutely 100%. If you can support local, then you absolutely must.
For those who live in Charlotte / Mecklenburg County, check for the titles from today at the CM Library - https://www.cmlibrary.org/
My favorite local bookstore is Fred & June's Books in Mooresville. The Owner, Stephen, is a friend and he can order literally any book your heart desires! Check them out and support their book store! Tell them The Patio Farmer sent you! - https://fredandjunesbooks.com/
If you cannot support a local business in your community, then you can support me by shopping for these books using my Amazon Affiliate link. All the books listed below are linked to my Amazon Storefront, and I earn a commission on each book sold.
